A stylist's eye, a magpie's heart.

Beetle Eyes is a curated rail tucked inside Curious Magpie in Mountsorrel — the place Corrine's pre-loved and vintage finds come to live, kept on a few rails at the heart of someone else's lovely shop.

Corrine has spent years working as a stylist — pulling pieces, building wardrobes, knowing what works on whom. The rail is where that eye comes to live: pre-loved womenswear and proper vintage, picked one piece at a time, kept honest on price, and re-styled into something you'd actually want to wear.

Nothing is mass. Nothing is fast. Pieces are turned over often, so the rail you rummage through next week is rarely the one you found today. That's the bit that keeps it interesting.

02 / What's inside

Rails worth rummaging.

Stock changes weekly. This is the gist of what tends to live on the rails — but the fun is in turning up and finding the thing you didn't know you wanted.

— 01

Pre-loved womenswear

The bulk of the rail. High-street through to designer, all secondhand, all picked because it earns its place. Sizes vary — that's the nature of it.

— 02

True vintage

Proper old pieces. 70s knits, 80s leathers, the occasional 90s denim moment. Things with a history, kept in good nick.

— 03

Coats & outerwear

The thing the British weather demands. Sheepskin, wool, oversized blazers, the odd showstopper.

— 04

Bags, belts & bits

Small things that finish an outfit. Leather bags, scarves, jewellery, the occasional very specific pair of sunglasses.

— 05

One-offs &
oddities

Things that don't fit anywhere else but had to come home anyway. Reader, you'll know it when you see it.

04 / The shop

Beetle Eyes lives inside Curious Magpie.

A wider, stranger, lovelier shop full of one-off finds — and Corrine's rails sit happily at the heart of it.

Curious Magpie is the mustard-yellow shop on Market Place. It's a thoughtfully-curated mix of vintage and pre-loved treasures, gifts and cards, artwork from local makers, flowers and plants, and bits brought home because someone fell in love with them. Everything has a story; nothing is in fives. You come in for one thing and leave with three.

When you visit Beetle Eyes, you're walking into Curious Magpie too — so set aside an hour, not ten minutes.

05 / Questions

Obvious questions, answered.

Do you take pieces in?

Sometimes — I'm fussy on purpose. DM @beetleeyesclothing with a few photos and I'll let you know if it's the right fit for the rail. Nothing makes the cut that I wouldn't put on a stylist's client.

Do you do refunds?

Exchange or store credit within 7 days, with the tag still on. Sale and clearance pieces are final, sorry. Bring the receipt where you can.

Can I reserve something I saw on Instagram?

Yes — drop a DM to @beetleeyesclothing and I'll hold it for 24 hours. Anything longer needs a small deposit so it's fair on the next person eyeing it up.

Is there parking?

Little Lane Car Park is your nearest spot — about a four-minute walk up to Market Place via Loughborough Road.

Are you dog-friendly?

Always. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome — there's water by the door and Curious Magpie keeps biscuits behind the counter.

Buy less, choose well, and rummage often. Every piece in here belonged to someone before you — and looked good on them too.
